Real estate is a business of relationships, and no one knows that better than Julie Provenzano, a Realtor with Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate and founder of The Provenzano Group. She’s the official Realtor for the Dallas Stars, handling real estate transactions for all players and management.

“Our business philosophy centers on the relationship more so than the individual transaction,” she said. “Long after the deal closes, we continue on a resource for our clients, whether they need contractor recommendations or resale opinions on remodeling projects. We want to create long-term value with them.”

In addition to The Provenzano Group serving as agents for the players and their families, Dave Perry-Miller is a sponsor of the Dallas Stars, and the official real estate firm of the team. The luxury service that the brand embodies is a perfect fit for the partnership.

“We strive to offer concierge services for the team just as we do for other relocating clients,” Provenzano said. “A move can mean a major upheaval for a family and we try to smooth that transition as much as possible. We take that responsibility seriously and many of our clients become personal friends through the process.”

Kari LehtonenMy house of the week for my CultureMap Dallas column was goaltender Kari Lehtonen’s University Park shocker over on Bryn Mawr: very “presidential” Georgian on the outside, a total knock-your-socks-off contemporary stunner on the inside complete with a huge glossy pea green desk! Turns out the Finns are going gaga over the listing, or maybe Kari! In any case, Jennifer Chininis at CultureMap Dallas tells me traffic for the story is coming in from Finland like crazy. Who knows, maybe we can sell them some MORE Dallas homes: I sure would like to know what they are saying about us!Kari Lehtonen ext Kari Lehtonen int foyer Kari Lehtonen study pea green desk Kari Lehtonen kitchen

This is one of Julie Provenzano’s “Star” listings at 3230 Bryn Mawr Dr. Built by Gage Homes in late 2009, the home is 6,400 square feet of pure, clean lines and classic floor plan: foyer, sweeping staircase, living on the left, dining on the right, and kitchen and den straight ahead. A well-done layout sure lets in the light, and the lot is a UP hefty at 70-by-106. There is a bar with wine grotto, full butler’s pantry that is practically a pastry kitchen, and an enormous and well-engineered kitchen. The study off the living room with that pea green desk is connected by three glass doors for optional entertainment flow and streaming sunlight.

The bedrooms, including the huge master suite with breakfast bar, are all upstairs. Each of the three guest bedrooms has its own bathroom, plus there’s a game room over the garage. The third floor has been finished out as a fifth guest bedroom. And in case Kari is ever caught by an errant hockey puck, there is a shaft for a future elevator. This puppy is only $2,395,000 and turns out it was styled by the same interior designer spruced up Loui Eriksson’s baby’s-butt smooth contemporary in Preston Hollow.

About that designer: I am hunting her down, even if I have to go to Finland to find her. My furs are in need of a good work-out!
