Trisha Hoelscher recently joined the Ebby Halliday Southlake office.  She previously worked at Engel and Volkers. However, after interviewing with multiple brokerages, she ultimately felt that Ebby was the best fit for her.

“I can’t say enough about the level of integrity, ethics, and unparalleled customer service that they offer,” Hoelscher said. “They have an amazing support system- it truly is a sense of community. It feels like coming home.”

Hoelscher will focus primarily on properties in Westlake, Vaquero, Southlake and Colleyville, areas she describes as “on fire” due to the immense amount of construction going on there.

During her career, she’s been active in pocket listings, private sales, and global relocations. She credits her success in part to a philosophy of building long-term relationships based on commitment and trust.

“My goal, as always, is to provide you exceptional, comprehensive service,” she said.

Before reinstating her license in 2015 to focus full time on real estate, Hoelscher spent 15 year in sales and consulting where she honed her negotiating skills. She also ran her own design firm, an experience that she draws upon when working with clients. While her hectic schedule does now allow for much time designing these days. she believes that having a passion for architecture and design melds well with her real estate business.

One fun fact about Hoelscher (pronounced HELL-chur) is that her family has been recognized as the largest in Texas, and likely one of the top three largest in the nation. Her ancestors, Anton and Maria Catherine Hoelscher were Germans who immigrated to Texas in the 1840’s. Their descendants now number in the thousands, with the vast majority of those living today residing in Texas.

“Any person with the same last name is probably related to me,” she said. “There are a ton of us.”

SOUTHLAKE 1900 Shady Oaks Front

Oh how they live in Southlake! The estates are bigger, the homes heftier, and everyone, it seems, has a zip line and a swimming pool environment in their back yard.

We scoped out 1900 Shady Oaks Drive listed by Ebby Halliday’s Quinn & Marcontell Group to give us a look at how large folks are living in Southlake just west of DFW International. Price tag on this puppy: $5,500,000.

Let me just put it this way — out here, 8,000 square feet is considered an average-sized home.

There are 8,882 square feet of glorious living space, from mega formals (including four living areas, to a hearth room and loft in the library, a card room and housekeeper’s living quarters over the garage), outdoor patio, kitchen and bar, pool (natch), a ten acre lot with koi pond and stocked tank, pasture, enough room for horses and even a barn, and automatic gates around the whole thing.

What I love best, though, is the pizza oven in the kitchen.

Take that back: I love the humongous master bedroom with its own private garden and a sitting room. (more…)

Hey You, we’re not in L.A. Baby. This will be the First Time you’ve thought to yourself “This is What I Go to School For — a mansion in Westlake’s exclusive Vaquero neighborhood owned by those sibling heartthrobs, the Jonas Brothers.”

That’s what I thought, and it’s Got Me Going Crazy.

We couldn’t Take a Breath, so we had to Make it Right and tell you all that this amazing home will have you screaming “Hello Beautiful!” So we included this incredible estate in our countdown to the grand opening of the Ebby Halliday office in Southlake, which is tomorrow, not in the Year 3000.

The home that housed these heartthrobs in Vaquero is now on the market.

609 Stonebury Dr ext This house is a great example of why Ebby was just bustin’ out of her old office in Southlake and needed some space to expand! Let’s say a homeowner comes in asking for a 4,000 ish square foot home with a master and master bath on the main floor, a game room, a media room, and oh yes 4 bedrooms, three baths and a powder room. Then just to put the frosting on the cake, they say they must have a pool because this is, after all, Texas and it’s hot AND oh yes their budget is about $650,000. In most other places, the agents would say, “see ya” Here in Dallas, you’d serve up 609 Stonebury Drive in Southlake. 4496 square feet of family living so good you won’t know what took you so long to get here. This is an executive-level home in Southlake Woods, built in 2003. The popular floor plan is open and makes family gatherings, entertaining and just plain relaxing a joy! Get this: the master even has a study off of it. The island kitchen features a beautiful granite, the family room opens to the great outdoor living area and pool. There’s even room for a playhouse. This home was listed at $670,000 but has been reduced to $649,900. Great schools in the famous Carroll ISD and even an AHS Home Warranty… how can it get better than this? Listed with Suzanne Maisto out of Ebby’s NEW Southlake office! (more…)
