Bravo Park Opening Marks Latest Milestone for Sloan Corners Development in Allen

Bravo Park, the first major public gathering space within Billingsley Company’s Sloan Corners development, will open June 20 with events and giveaways as construction continues on the mixed-use project planned for thousands of apartments and millions of square feet of office space in Allen and Fairview.

Located at the intersection of U.S. 75 and SH 121, Sloan Corners has been described by Allen officials as a future gateway to the city. Spanning portions of both Allen and Fairview, the project is envisioned as a mixed-use district with residential, retail, restaurant, hotel, office, and recreational uses.

While Sloan Corners is still years from full buildout, its first phase is already underway. Hartwood, the development’s first apartment community, is open and leasing, additional multifamily construction has begun, and restaurant and retail tenants are preparing to open.

At full buildout, the Allen portion of Sloan Corners is planned to include more than 6 million square feet of office space, up to 4,000 apartments, retail and restaurant space, and more than 50 acres of parks and open space.

Bravo Park is intended to anchor the project as a community hub with walking trails, pickleball courts, dog parks, public art, and open green space.

“Bravo Park reflects our vision for Sloan Corners as a place that brings people together and creates meaningful experiences for the surrounding community,” said Lucy Billingsley, founder and principal of Billingsley Company, in a prepared statement. “We are excited to officially welcome the community and showcase everything this development will continue to bring to Allen and Collin County.”

Founded in 1978 by Lucy and Henry Billingsley, Billingsley Company develops, owns, and manages commercial and residential real estate across North Texas. The company is best known for large mixed-use developments such as Cypress Waters near DFW Airport and Austin Ranch in The Colony, projects that combine housing, office space, restaurants, retail, parks, and entertainment venues.
