A new luxury apartment building has recently opened in Frisco Square courtesy of the high-end multifamily housing firm Toll Brothers Apartment Living.
While the Toll Brothers brand is more closely associated with single-family homes, it also has a subsidiary that focuses on the production of luxury apartment buildings. The company has delivered some 10,000 units nationally and has roughly 18,000 more underway.
Its latest community is called Mirra, which comprises 285 luxury units across five stories at 8320 Church St. in the heart of Frisco.

“Mirra represents our dedication to creating communities that offer both luxury and a sense of belonging,” said Tommy Rhodus, the managing director of Toll Brothers Apartment Living’s central region, according to a press release. “The community’s prime location in Frisco Square provides residents with unparalleled access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and major employment centers.”
Rapid population growth in North Texas has fueled development, and that’s more than apparent in the Frisco Square area, which includes Toyota Stadium, the National Soccer Hall of Fame, Kaleidoscope Park, Stonebriar Centre, the Frisco Rail District, the Frisco Public Library, and a bevy of newer mixed-use properties and offices.
Broadly speaking, Frisco’s been a top destination for relocations in the region, so much so that the local school district has been struggling to absorb all the new students. More people also means more housing, and builders have been working to deliver enough to support all the new residents.
In Frisco Square alone there’s already The Plaza, The Isaac, The Civic, and Olympus Boulevard, all of which are on the luxury end of multifamily housing. There’s also Kilby Apartments. Toll Brothers Apartment Living’s first foray into the Texas rental market was actually the delivery of the Kilby at 8455 Grace St. in Frisco Square back in 2021. The community was subsequently sold to Chicago-based Equity Residential just several months after opening.
Mirra has a mix of studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms for rent, which come with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops with tile backsplashes, modern flat panel cabinetry, oversized closets with built-in shelving, hardwood-style flooring, and designer lighting. As a modern perk, the units also come with smart home technology like keyless entry and smart thermostats.

Select units, however, come with added features such as large kitchen islands, double vanities in the bathroom, soaking tubs, glass-encased showers, and private patios and balconies.

When it comes to amenities, Mirra’s got quite a few of them. There’s a resort-style pool, a covered outdoor kitchen and bar with grills, a two-story fitness center, a game lounge with a pool table, co-working spaces, a conference room, covered parking in a garage, and even a pet spa.

“Mirra was designed to provide residents with a sophisticated, connected, and comfortable community, reflecting our commitment to developing residences that deliver the quality and elevated lifestyle that today’s renters expect,” said John McCullough, president of Toll Brothers Apartment Living, according to the press release.
