Builders of Hope Hosts West Dallas ‘Heirs Property Workshop’ on Feb. 20

Builders of Hope Community Development Corp. is hosting a free workshop at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, to help West Dallas residents clear the title to their family home.
Builders of Hope has been at the forefront of protecting legacy residents who want to stay in their Dallas neighborhoods. The CDC, led by CEO James Armstrong and Chief Community Development and Policy Officer Stephanie Champion, rolled out an anti-displacement toolkit in November.
Thursday’s Heirs Property Workshop will offer a chance for residents to speak with attorneys and title experts about their family home.
The workshop will be at 3107 N. Winnetka Ave. Participants must RSVP with housing program specialist Johana Miranda at 214-742-6674 ext. 113. More information is available at the Wesley Rankin Community Center website or Builders of Hope website.
