Juli Black Quickly Sold This Highland Park Luxury Condo, But the Showroom Closet Will Inspire You

Listed just last Friday, the ink was barely dry on the MLS before Allie Beth Allman agent Juli Black had an offer on 4301 Lomo Alto #C. These boutique townhome-style condos — just six in total — occupy a sweet spot in Highland Park, close (but not too close) to the Tollway and Lemmon, just steps from Whole Foods, walk to Highland Park Village, and an easy drive to Uptown or downtown nightlife. This unit is unique, both for its own style and quality, but also in comparison to similarly priced Highland Park luxury condos. This two-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath condo is fully upgraded, designed to perfection, and ready to move in. Keep reading because when you see the closet, it’ll be easy to see why a smart buyer snapped it up quickly.
Let’s take a look.

From the moment you enter, you know you’re in for a treat with designer finishes at every turn. The current owner put in the marble checkerboard floor at the entryway, as well as the gorgeous eye-catching balustrade, and that incredible light fixture. On the first floor, there’s a bedroom and bath and one of my favorite rooms in the house, the office (see below).

I will be painting my home office this exact shade of blue immediately. I love everything about this room. The rich, dark, hardwood floors against that perfect shade of blue, with the surprise of the gold ceiling. The window treatments (all of which are custom designed throughout the home) are dreamy, and you know when that’s open you have a nice big window for lots of natural light. Or if you need an extra bedroom, this could easily convert.

When you’re ready to head upstairs, no need to tax yourself, just hop on the elevator. This was newly installed by the current owner as well, and is very handy for navigating three floors, whether you’re carrying groceries or mobility-challenged.
On the second floor, we have the living room, kitchen, dining room, and guest bath. The living room has this incredible built-in entertainment center, which conceals the stairs to the third floor. On the far side, you can see one of my favorite features, the beautifully designed wet bar (see a close-up image in the slide show above). The glass patio doors, accented by more gorgeous custom designer drapes, open to an adorable balcony with a great view.
The floorplan is wonderfully open for entertaining: the dining area clearly and classically defined by another remarkable crystal chandelier. The stone bar top offers additional seating and a view into the chef’s kitchen which features Wolf appliances, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and a custom, hand-finished hood. And don’t forget the bathroom! Check out the unbelievable brass inlay in that bathroom!
As we head to the third floor and the luxe primary suite, I will note that I might not ordinarily put the closet first in a grouping of pictures. But in case you should fail to click through and miss this closet… The condo was actually originally three bedrooms, but the owner converted a bedroom into this magnificent closet, and did so in such a way that a future owner could easily convert it back to a bedroom if they choose.
Moving on, the bedroom is elegant and spacious with a gorgeous herringbone wood floor and lots of windows to take in the natural light and those beautiful third-floor views. The spa-like primary bathroom has been redone with meticulous care — the floor alone is a work of art.
It’s no surprise that this stylish luxury condo was snapped up so quickly: a sign of both the quality of the home and the acumen of the Realtor.
