It was the sip heard round the world when U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio took a quick water break during his rebuttal to President Obama’s State of the Union address last night. Of course, as people tweeted and posted post-mortems of the garish gulp, it came to light that Rubio is selling his West Miami two-story for $675K.
The Rubio family home, which is in the same neighborhood Rubio grew up in, was purchased in 2005 for $550,000, according to a story from Yahoo! Homes/Zillow contributor Laura Vecsey.
The 2,600-square-foot home has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, plenty of living space, and an open floor plan. There’s a spectacular pool, as well as a covered patio in the backyard, which is perfect for entertaining fellow statesmen and high-profile campaign contributors
I’d say that, if this home were in Dallas, We’d probably spot it in Devonshire or Greenway Parks. What do you think?
