This all started with Willie and Waylon. Senior columnist Karen Eubank saw a social media post by Old City Park, a living history museum in The Cedars near Downtown Dallas, announcing that the park’s two beloved farm donkeys were leaving. Evicted really.

Old City Park is coming under new management by the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department on May 26, and the donkeys required a skillset the parks staff just didn’t have. In this clip from the latest episode of Dallas Dirt, Dallas County Heritage Society President Michael Meadows explains why the animals are all packing up their bags.
