The Best Real Estate Interviews of 2023

Share News:

If you’re not in the real estate industry yourself you may not realize this, but real estate people are some of the most interesting people in the world. You’ll never meet a group of people with a more vast set of circumstances and backgrounds that brought them to a business that they’re universally passionate about.

You may hear similar themes, but each story is unique. And now and then, here at CandysDirt.com, we are honored to share some of those stories with our readers. At the end of the year, as we look back at some of the best stories of the year, I’m excited to take another look at some of the Realtors and real estate industry professionals we talked to this year.

1. Full-Time Agent, Part-Time Hero

Remember Thundersleet 2023? While most people safely hunker down in their homes in unsafe weather, Realtor Patrick Abell loads up emergency equipment and heads out. He spends days like these pulling people out of ditches, delivering groceries, and getting people to medical appointments they can’t miss. And last year, during the storm, that’s just what he did. “Being a real estate agent allows me to do it. It gives me the freedom,” he said.

2. Pamela Massey-Carter’s Winning Record Inspires

From her winning career on the college basketball court to her powerful enterpreneurial spirit that led her to real estate, Massey-Carter has a ton of fans, not the least of whom is her tight-knit family. We are all continuing to root for her young son Maverick, whose heart defect and successful surgery have been such a source of inspiration for their family.

3. Mikey Abrams, A Real Showman

We had a blast getting to know Realtor and musical theater afficionado, Mikey Abrams, whose client appreciation events are truly next level (his Holiday Movie Game Show and Sing-A-Long was Tuesday night). Mikey’s story of one-of-a-kind marketing and being your authentique self was the feel-good story we all needed this summer.

4. Jerry Allen, a Sweet Second Act

You gotta love the story of a guy who retires from a career, only to become an agent and start yet another even more successful career. Oh, and he’s a really cool musician, too.

5. JP Piccinini: Master of all Trades

When we caught up with JP Piccinini this summer to talk life since JPAR, no one was surprised to find he has his hands in…well, a little bit of everything. A fantastic interview with the captain of real estate (and now a fleet of yachts), had him talking about business, life, and much more.
