Trick or Treat the Square

Next in a series: North Texas cities, towns, and neighborhoods celebrate fall with all the gusto of people who have suffered through a Texas summer, and we are here to let you know about the best area fall festivals, Oktoberfests, pumpkin patches, and Halloween fun over the next several weeks. Today, it’s all about costumes, candy, and Halloween festivities at Trick or Treat the Square in Frisco. If you know of a great fall activity that needs to be showcased, let us know! Here’s the series so far.

Neighborhood/Area: Frisco

Where: The Frisco Square, 8843 Coleman Blvd, Frisco, TX

What makes it special: The City of Frisco has really nailed the hometown holiday event, and they do a great job of welcoming the community multiple times a year to celebrate the season, but the Trick or Treat the Square event is a whole lot of cute family fun and a great way to show off those costumes!

Trick Trick-or-treating a store is always a hoot and many of the stores along the square serve as treat stops for the kids. I spoke to the folks at POParella’s Gourmet Popcorn & Treats, and they will be giving out popcorn samples to trick-or-treaters on Saturday!

What: The festival includes lots of free candy and spooky treats at stations throughout the square. There will also be carnival games, inflatables, horse wagon rides, and more.

When: Saturday, October 28, 2023, 1 to 4 p.m.

Tickets: This event is FREE.
