Live Oak Condos Put You Close to Everything Dallas, and We Have a Map to Prove It

When Courtney Tauriac of Compass RE Texas says the new Live Oak Condos she is listing are close to everything, I can fact-check that for this week’s Highlight Home of the Week, sponsored by Dallas mortgage banker Lisa Peters of Cardinal Financial, and report back with a big affirmative checkmark.

In fact, Tauriac has a little map to show what neighborhood areas surround these new construction condos. Now, even as a lifelong Dallasite, I feel like that Ben Abbott commercial where he tells that lawyer with the plane where DeSoto is located. (For the record, I know where DeSoto is. But I don’t know what exact streets delineate East Dallas from Old East Dallas from Lower Greenville.) Luckily Courtney knows.

(It’s not the highest resolution map, but I’ll share it with you anyway because you asked nicely.)

“The Live Oak Condos really do put you close to everything Dallas,” Tauriac says.

Located between Haskell and Peak in Old East Dallas, the 4208 Live Oak Condos are a block of 14 new construction condos priced under $600,000. Two have already closed and five are under contract, no doubt thanks to that reasonable price point for a two-bedroom, three-bath urban condo with about 1,800 square feet. Right now, Tauriac has 7 homes left.

Surrounded by Dallas’s most popular neighborhoods, the condos at 4208 Live Oak Street offer a dynamic living experience in a modern home that offers shopping, dining, and entertainment all within minutes. Go north for shopping at Knox Henderson and dining in Lower Greenville. Go west for the Central Project, a 27-acre mixed-use development with living, shopping, dining, entertainment, and office space. Or, go south for live music and entertainment in Deep Ellum, The Cedars, and Trinity Groves. Plus, it’s an easy commute to Baylor Hospital or Downtown Dallas.

The Live Oak Condos are single-family attached homes that are three stories tall, offering superb treetop views. Actually, they’re four stories if you count the private one-car garage on the bottom floor. The modern condos feature sharp architectural lines with a style that has come to define what modern urban living means in Dallas. They’re simple, they’re clean, and they’re lock and leave.

The second floor with its 12-foot ceilings features an open living and dining floorplan featuring a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, a breakfast bar island, and soft-close custom cabinetry with under cabinet lighting. It boasts not only style but also practicality, with convenient features such as a trash pull-out and a microwave seamlessly integrated into the island.

Pop up to the third floor to find the primary ensuite, inviting you to unwind with a spacious bedroom that features a balcony and spa-like bathroom. This tranquil oasis leads to a spacious walk-in closet, ensuring that your wardrobe finds its deserving home.

Whether you’re seeking a second bedroom or a dedicated office space, the fourth floor provides flexibility to cater to your lifestyle. Plus, for those who revel in stargazing or simply savoring the cityscape, the rooftop deck offers a private and enchanting space for evening moments of reflection. Yeah, that.

Beyond the interior elegance, each unit at Live Oak Condos includes a private low-maintenance fenced yard. The synthetic grass adds a touch of greenery while keeping upkeep hassle-free.

You know what else is hassle-free? Tauriac points out the developer incentives for buyers, including a 2-1 Buy Down bringing their interest rate to as low as 6 percent for the first year. Or choose an appliance package including a refrigerator and washer/dryer or window treatments throughout among other incentives.

“This is a great opportunity for a buyer to take advantage of the current market by choosing the incentive that works for them, start enjoying the tax benefits of homeownership, begin building appreciation and move just in time to be able to celebrate the holidays in their new home,” Tauriac says.

Courtney Tauriac of Compass RE Texas has listed 4208 Live Oak Street starting at $579,900.
