This Chic Uptown Loft-Style Condo Really Is Where It’s At

Share News:

Of all the incredible districts Dallas has to offer, Uptown is perhaps one of the most exciting. With proximity to a list of local favorites such as Eatzi’s, Enoteca Italia, and Moxie’s there’s no denying the distinct dining culture of this area. However, a wealth of boutique storefronts, beautiful parks, and hip bars also create a one-of-a-kind culture in this well-curated area.

For this week’s Inwood Home of the Week sponsored by Inwood National Bank, we’re stoked to bring you a chic condo at an excellent price. Also, it’s right within all the Uptown action.

Mohammed Nour Jaber with Compass is leasing 4242 Buena Vista Street, Unit 7 for $1,850 per month. This beautiful 704-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bath loft-style condo is a dream for city dwellers. It’s just steps from the Katy Trail and conveniently located near Knox and West Village retail shops, restaurants, and nightlife.

As for the apartment itself, it screams style. The open loft-style floor plan really maximizes the space. On the first level, there is a modern sitting room with warm hardwood floors, modern spotlighting, and muted Repose Gray finishes.

Then, the kitchen is sleek and modern with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Also, I love how the Pristal block windows provide both privacy and a retro style that really adds to this space.

Then, just up a sleek wire rail staircase, the primary offers an abundance of space for relaxing in style. The owners updated the upstairs bathroom beautifully with granite countertops, a glass-enclosed shower, and gorgeous tilework.

Live it up in uptown!

Finally, this home also features its own utility room with a washer and dryer and an assigned covered parking space. Those looking for an easy way to integrate with one of Dallas’ most distinct neighborhoods need look no further!

There are several apartment & condo buildings in this neighborhood – both north and south of Fitzhugh – that have some similar styling: 4221 Cole, 4334 & 4404 Buena Vista, The Lofts II at Travis & Lee, and several others (probably including some that have been razed). The similar styling includes things Iike the glass blocks (I believe you called them “Pristal” above), balcony rails (and other features) using smooth pipe, several have curved exterior walls (and, I assume, curved rooms) – kind of a “retro – mod” kind of thing. I’ve also been in a condo south of Fitz (on Travis, I think) that had a similar floor plan to this one, and the glass blocks, etc. Any idea who the builder/architect was? I’m guessing all (or many, anyway) of these are by the same person/people. I have walked by them for a long time, and wondered.
