There’s probably no Dallas dwelling style more iconic than the Craftsman. Take a tour through the M Streets and make your way around East Dallas and you will discover this classic American architecture is profound and prominent. Of course, if you find one that’s well-maintained to boot, you’re in for a treat.

For this week’s Inwood Home of the Week sponsored by Inwood National Bank, we are super excited to show you an East Dallas Craftsman that is updated, elegant, and incredibly affordable. Paul Sanders with Compass RE Texas lists 615 N Carroll Avenue for $460,000.

This 1,194-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is an absolute must-see. From the curb, all the classic Craftsman characteristics are present. The home boasts a beautiful exterior complete with a large covered patio, fresh paint, and a picture-perfect lawn surrounded by towering mature trees.

Then, the interior is clean, classic, and cozy. Beautiful hardwood flooring and soft white finishes complement the charming architecture and original features. You’ll feel instantly at home upon walking in.

The living room centers smartly around a faux gas fireplace, the floorplan extending beyond and beckoning you to each room.

Then, the kitchen is sleek and sophisticated with stainless steel appliances, a beautiful gas range, and quartz countertops. Also, a classic subway tile backsplash nods to the era’s aesthetic.

Then, the primary bedroom is a roomy retreat. Vaulted ceilings and a designer chandelier set this space off with elegant taste. Also, two huge windows allow the rooms to take in ample light.

The ensuite bathroom also features incredible updates such as an oversized walk-in shower, dual vanities, and dazzling tilework.

Then, the other rooms in this home are just as charming. It’s so cozy yet inclusive of everything you’d need for family or guests. If you’re seeking an incredible craftsman at an unbeatable price, this East Dallas dream is what you’re looking for.

I just ripped out my tub. So I have no tubs in the house and could not be happier! I think unless you have a pretty big house , tubs are just becoming a thing of the past.
