Barr Bonsteel Group is Living The Dream at Allie Beth Allman & Associates

Victoria Barr, who recently joined Allie Beth Allman & Associates, has enjoyed the extraordinary opportunity to work with two of Texas’ most successful women business leaders.

Barr learned the Dallas-area real estate business with the powerhouse Ebby Halliday. Now, she has brought her strong team, which includes a daughter, to work with Allie Beth Allman, whom she considers the leader of the next generation of superstar Dallas Realtors.

“I am so excited to work with her,” Barr said. “To learn from two iconic women in this industry is a blessing.”

And the feeling is mutual. When Barr brought her legacy of selling luxury homes to the Allman firm, Allie Beth sent her a text, “You have been my dream.”

Barr’s stellar career began at the University of Texas, where she sold real estate while earning an environmental science degree. Life after college took her to Cozumel, Mexico, where she managed properties.

“I have been in real estate my whole life,” she said.

She returned to Texas, speaking Spanish fluently, and began helping clients achieve their dreams in communities across North Texas. Being bilingual and understanding multiple cultures, she has been exceptionally helpful as an incoming and outgoing specialist for the executive relocation teams of corporate giants like AT&T and Toyota.

“Matching people with the best home and location for them is a passion I look forward to every day,” Barr said.

Victoria’s success is due to her ability to coordinate the details of today’s complex transactions while directing a strong team that excels in financing, one-stop shopping, and employing the latest online marketing tools.

She has been recognized by numerous publications, like D Magazine, which has ranked her a top producer and platinum producer since 2012. The Wall Street Journal named her one of the nation’s top 1,000 Realtors. And the Advocate rated Barr as one of the best agents in Dallas.

The Barr-Bonsteel Group includes her daughter, Melissa Quinones Bonsteel. Like her two older sisters — an attorney and an education administrator — Melissa grew up helping her mother buy and sell houses. With a college degree in marketing, Melissa was recruited by an international advertising agency to help manage its account with Ford Motor Co.

But the lure of real estate and working with her mother was powerful. Even while she was employed elsewhere, she referred clients who needed her mother’s help. Following in her footsteps, Melissa is a full-time Realtor with closed transactions to her credit.

Barr believes in giving back to her community and has volunteered for years helping Equest serve children with disabilities. She also supports the American Lung Association, Communities in Schools, and The Salvation Army.
