All kinds of family members work together on real estate teams. However, Elizabeth Shuford Conroy, and her cousin Lauren Shuford Laughry, have taken their family bond to a completely different level.

Tried and true, and launching something new, Lauren and Elizabeth, founders of the Selling Shufords, have begun an exciting new chapter by forming their own real estate team at market-leading luxury brokerage Allie Beth Allman & Associates.

Relationship-driven and results-focused, they are proud to guide clients through their new real estate journey. The pair has been inseparable much of their lives and brings lovely smiles, sterling reputations, a can-do spirit, and positive energy to their clients.

“Our lasting relationships with clients, friends, and family are why we are in the position we are in today.  Real estate is all about referrals and the impact you make when helping someone through the course of home buying. We make it as smooth as possible … while having a little fun in the process,” says Lauren.

So far, the Selling Shufords, both senior vice presidents at their new firm, have impressively sold over $175 million in area properties.

“We work well together and complement each other with our different, yet similar business styles,” explains Elizabeth. “We are a family first but make an incredible real estate team based on complementary goals, and a strong work ethic.”

Does the pair focus on particular neighborhoods? “We are homegrown, and grew up in the Park Cities so we know it very well,” says Lauren. But they also focus on trendy zip codes including Preston Hollow, Devonshire, Briarwood, Greenway Parks, West Highland Park, and Lakewood.

Warm, confident, selfless, and community connected, the team strives to make clients feel welcome and excited about the home buying and selling process, backed by the deep resources of the market-leading Allie Beth Allman team.

The Selling Shufords excel in working with clients moving here out of state. “We are from Dallas, which makes us quite knowledgeable about the market,” explains Elizabeth. “Since we both have children in public and private schools, we understand the local educational systems intimately.”

Both women graduated from local colleges (TCU and SMU) and understand that demographic’s needs.

“We love working with all types of clients – first-time homebuyers, recent graduates, growing families with children of all ages, and beyond,” says Elizabeth. “We get to know our client’s passions, priorities, needs, and desires, then we can narrow down neighborhoods.”

For the Selling Shufords, their memorable identity goes beyond a standard brand. “It represents the importance of family,” says Lauren.

“A home is where a family lives, and precious memories are made. As cousins and business partners, we understand the importance of both family and home.”
