Luxurious, Artsy, And Affordable: This Weekend’s Open Houses Have Something For Everyone

Share News:

With so many unique homes on the market, it’s difficult to narrow it down to just a few. We’ve selected three homes with open houses coming up this weekend — and each has a special feature that’s worth checking out in person.

Which of our open houses of the week are on your list?

Fresh Prince of Bel Aire

This brand new build is so new it doesn’t even know what COVID is. Finished out this year and on the market for just two weeks, this five-bedroom, three-and-one-half-bath abode is spacious and pristine.

Situated in the prestigious Bel Aire Estates, this home at 10350 Bel Aire Drive, is just minutes from White Rock Lake

The location is amazing, but add to that a whole menu of amenities across 8,500 square feet crafted by DCI Home Builders. It has white oak wood flooring, custom quartz countertops, high ceilings, a tankless gas water heater, and a glass custom jewelry cabinet in the primary suite’s closet.

Little pops of sophisticated color appear throughout the decor. There are black brick and white stucco exterior walls, an interior black accent wall on the stairs, a black brick and wood design on the fireplace, and luxury gold lighting on the stairs and in the dining area. A white gravel design is featured on the driveway and side patio.

“Words cannot do this build justice,” writes Realtor Jason Samuel with Texas Trust Realty LLC of the $1.3 million listing. “Come and check it out for yourself.”

An open house is set for noon to 4 p.m. Friday, April 22.

Ths diamond in the rough will bring some sparkle into your life.

The historic Arts and Crafts-style home at 801 West Louisiana St. in McKinney was built in 1915.

It’s just a few steps away from the downtown McKinney Cultural Square

It’s quaint and historic but it’s also spacious with a covered, expansive front porch and 3,152 square feet of original preserved detail. The front landscaping is updated.

The hardwood floors, millwork, crown molding, baseboards, doors, glass doorknobs, and several light fixtures are original. The functional floor plan is touted by Realtor Cathy Ogden with RE/MAX Four Corners. She’s listing the home for $925,000.

Kitchen features include stacked cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There are two heat-producing fireplaces with original mantles.

A detached two-car garage was replaced in 2015 and has electricity. Kids have plenty of room to play in the large, private, serene backyard on half an acre.

In a more affordable bracket is this beauty in Haltom City.

The three-bedroom, one-bathroom abode at 4512 Sanford St. is listed at $260,000. It’s hard to find something in that price range, and this one offers some great amenities.

It’s in a fantastic location, just a few miles from downtown Fort Worth. The roof was replaced last year, and it is move-in ready. It has a concrete driveway, dry bar, and wood-burning fireplace.

The garage was converted to a mother-in-law suite and has its own entrance. A storage shed is available for use in the backyard.

Realtor Martha Coleman with Cityline Realty is showing the home, which is in the Birdville Independent School District
