Chic timepieces more than make up for losing an hour sleep. (Design Within Reach)

If you’re reading this feeling a little groggy, you’re not alone. Daylight saving time arrived at 2 a.m., taking 60 minutes of precious sleep along with it.

It also means springing our clocks forward an hour. Sure, smartphones and watches have simplified the ritual. But something is to be said about a beautifully designed timepiece that doesn’t have to be charged and doubles as décor — not to mention gives us a break from our inboxes.

Here are our picks for easing into DST in ultimate style.

Delta Wall Clock

(MoMA Design Store)

Inspired by sundials, this unique wood clock by Danish architects Allen Shakir and Ewa Bryzek creates interesting shadows when exposed to sunlight. Available exclusively at the MoMA Design Store.

QLOCKTWO Wall Clock

(Lumens)

More fashion than function, this statement-making stainless steel wall clock spells out words to tell the time. Choose from six colors and five languages.

Fornasetti Sun-Print Wall Clock

(Fornasetti)

This is a collector’s item for fans of the iconic Italian design house. This glass wall clock pays tribute to one of Piero Fornasetti’s most beloved themes: the Sun.

Off-White Logo Wall Clock

(Neiman Marcus)

Designed by Virgil Abloh, the long-time creative consultant to Kanye West, Off-White is known as a “mash-up of art and contemporary culture” — the gray area between streetwear and high fashion. Even if you don’t recognize the brand’s signature logo, this is one super cool clock.

Sea Grass Wall Clock

This is a natural seagrass face surrounded by fringe that emits a light, airy vibe. It’s perfect for lake and vacation homes.

Nelson Sunburst Clock

(Design Within Reach)

The midcentury-inspired Sunburst Clock (1949) is one of more than 150 designed by George Nelson Associates for the Howard Miller Clock Co. It’s available in three colorations.

Tromma Wall Clock

(Ikea)

Don’t let the $2.79 price tag fool you. This battery-operated plastic clock sports a lot of style. Perforated numbers let the color of the wall behind them shine through.

OneClock Alarm Clock

(OneClock)

If DST has left you a bit off-kilter, this clock uses the innate biological power of melody to gently lift you out of sleep. The sustainably sourced wood finish has a modern, timeless aesthetic.

Unlike your cellphone, these watches need to be manually adjusted. But we’d gladly sacrifice tech for one of these stunners.

Projects Red Suprematism Watch

(Amazon)

This minimalist-influenced watch is the handiwork of architect/designer Denis Guidone. A gray hour hand, black minute hand and red second box spin in the center of an all-white face.

Overseas World Time Watch

(Vacheron Constantin)

Need to know what time it is any city around the world? For $37K you get 37 time zones plus three interchangeable straps in steel, leather, and rubber.

G-Shock Mudmaster

(Amazon)

This mud-resistant watch is durable enough for a construction site. Features include a super illuminator LED light, Neo-bright luminescent hands, compass, thermometer, world time, stopwatch, five daily alarms, and full auto-calendar.

Hermes Cape Cod Watch

(Hermès)

White always looks right — especially when it’s a classic Hermès watch. But add diamond chain detailing and we’re talking off-the-charts chic.

(Van Cleef & Arpel)

In true St. Patrick’s Day spirit, Van Cleef’s instantly recognizable Alhambra motif has become a timeless symbol of luck. This lapis, gold, and diamond watch oozes elegance.
