HGTV’s ‘No Demo Reno’ Looks to Cast North Texas Families for Upcoming Season

HGTV’s No Demo Reno is in search of families within 30 minutes of Allen who are willing to trade in autonomy in exchange for a redesign of their homes.
If selected, the HGTV show will line up “an incredible local home designer and her team will transform your outdated spaces into a home that reflects your family and their needs.”
No Demo Reno, developed by the Miami, Fla.-based Essential Media Group, debuted in March 2021 and was renewed for a second season. At first glance, you’d think the show involved a protest group against demolitions in a Nevada city.
But it’s not. The series is hosted by Jenn Todryk, who co-owns an Allen coffee shop with her husband, Mike. Todryk is also known as the “Rambling Redhead.” Her blog has led her into a passion for home renovation. She has more than a million followers on Instagram.
No Demo Reno is featuring five consecutive episodes starting at 5 a.m. Wednesday on HGTV.
No Demo Reno spelled out its idea of a perfect participant:
- Homeowners wanting renovations without moving walls; allowing our experienced team to take the reins.
- Renovations will focus on three to four spaces: A master suite, kitchens, bathrooms, living area, etc.
- Homeowners must have an existing budget between $45K-$60K that will be utilized by our professional team
- Homeowners must be willing to vacate during the remodel (three to four weeks)
- Homes must be within 30 minutes of Allen.
If you fit the bill, email the Essential Media Group at [email protected] for more information. Include contact information, a family photo, a few interior photos of your home, an exterior home, and a home address.
