How Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty Keeps Raising The Bar in Every Way

Sold gold: Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty leads in the Park Cities. Here, 4412 Lakeside Drive in Highland Park, sold in 2021.

The good news just keeps coming and coming from Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. There is so much to say that we’ll bottom-line it for you here:

  • The brokerage surpassed its sales projection for 2021 and ended the year at an exceptional $3 billion. That now makes multiple consecutive years of multibillion-dollar sales volumes.
  • The brokerage — for the third straight year — has the highest average home sales price in both Highland Park and University Park, per BrokerMetrics. In areas that hot, that is a real testament to the Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty agents who specialize in the Park Cities.
  • The priciest house for sale in Dallas in the MLS? A Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty listing, represented by agents JB Hayes and Ralph Randall: 6915 Baltimore Drive, almost 24,000 square feet of Mediterranean style — plus a movie theater, dog suite and 20-car underground garage — going up in Volk Estates.
  • In October, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty entered a substantial partnership with Peerage Realty Partners, the growing Toronto-based private-equity investment group. Peerage is on fire in the luxury real estate realm, and very passionate about acquiring top-performing Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates. This puts Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty in a portfolio of brokerages in Canada, Chicago, Vermont, New Hampshire, Oregon and Southwest Washington. It also sets the powerhouse North Texas brokerage — it was founded in the Park Cities in 1960, you know — on course for an even bigger future, with tremendous benefits and possibilities for its clients and agents.
  • Speaking of those agents, they continue to wow in every way. They number nearly 400 now, and they are leading the way in social media, marketing, videos, virtual tours and technology. They are coming off another exceptional year — and we are hearing buzz that 2022 could be the brokerage’s best year yet.
  • Those agents and their clients also just landed Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty the No. 5 spot on the Dallas Business Journal’s new list of the 50 largest and fastest-rising private companies in Dallas and Fort Worth. And, FYI? It’s the only luxury brokerage on that list.
Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty ranked No. 5 in the Dallas Business Journal’s list of fast-growing, privately-owned companies.
  • In 2021, the brokerage moved two of its six offices into beautiful new digs. It relocated its Fort Worth flagship to a loft-like space along the famous bricks of Camp Bowie Boulevard, and it moved its North office, in Plano, to the busy Shops at Legacy. Both offices are ground-floor, come-and-go hubs for the agents who specialize in those on-the-rise areas.

  • Always known for the relevant and timely information it gives its clients and agents, the brokerage has just released its latest Market Moves report. These reports put the real estate market in context on a local scale. They are always loaded with information, including median home prices, the average number of days on the market and more. The brokerage has crunched the numbers for Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Collin and Rockwall counties, and knowing what’s happening in those areas could save you — or make you — a notable amount of money.

  • The brokerage has also just announced the 2022 Luxury Outlook. This is another unique report, this one produced by Sotheby’s International Realty each year and a look ahead at real estate trends, buyers, second homes, hot spots and more. It is loaded with information — and inspiration, too. Come read it at sothebysrealty.com: Click on Stories, then click on Luxury Outlook 2022.
  • In the all-important world of marketing, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is ahead of the pack there, too. This is the only brokerage we know of that gives its agents access to:

An in-house team of marketing and communications professionals

Agent Services Managers who help with everything from business plans to systems

Best-in-class social media assets, both customizable and ready to go

Digital-ad opportunities for Facebook, Instagram and more

Opportunities with top video-content creators for properties and branding

Opportunities in key publications, including the lifestyle-and-listings magazine Reside

Opportunities for easy-order brochures, postcards, reports and more

As we said, it’s a lot of good news over there.

We’re watching closely as Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty just keeps raising that bar. More buzz we’re hearing? A great mix of agents has been joining with great regularity. And, there is talk of a new venture that will be announced soon. (We’ve been trying to pry it out of them, but no luck yet!) We’ll be back, the minute we know more.

We do know this: This is the brokerage to watch in 2022.
