If this latest resurgence of COVID has sent your stress level into overdrive, you’re not alone. Navigating a pandemic can cause angst for even the most level-headed.

In fact, self-care has become a buzzword in 2022—for good reason. If the last two years has taught us anything, it’s the importance of taking good care of ourselves, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Not surprisingly, manufacturers got the message. The well-being space is chock-full of new products, ranging from the simple (a $15 suction wine glass holder) to the sublime (a $300,000 custom bed).

Here, eight intriguing finds designed to help you relax and rejuvenate.

Savoir Beds Custom “Three Sixty” Rotating Bed

When it comes to well-being, we all know the importance of sleep. Savoir’s app-controlled rotating bed, featured in Architectural Digest, caught our eye.

So, what justifies the bed’s 300-grand price tag? For starters, 300 production hours. Every bed is constructed and perfected by a single craftsperson. Then, to get it to rotate smoothly, Savoir uses the world’s foremost turntable maker, Bumat. And, of course, there’s the hand-teased horse tail natural spring mattress, custom fabric headboard, and exclusive topper made from the rare natural fibers of a Mongolian yak.

Alistar Hughes, the London-based company’s managing director, provided some back story: “It came from a bespoke order we had a couple of years ago where the client had bought a château in the south of France and couldn’t decide if they wanted their bed to be facing the fireplace or the windows looking at the garden.”

On average, the company produces only 1,000 beds per year—fewer than the number of Birkin bags Hermès releases annually.

A tony client list includes Madonna, Sir Elton John, and Oprah Winfrey.
