Champions School of Real Estate’s New Online Interactive Courses Give Students More Flexibility

Champions School of Real Estate recently launched a new online interactive course delivery method to great results.

For some students, getting a real estate license can be a huge time commitment. Sometimes, full-time work or family obligations make it near impossible to manage. But what if you could get the same quality instruction the industry has come to rely on from Champions School of Real Estate, only at a self-paced, module-based format?

That’s exactly what Champions School of Real Estate, Texas’s largest real estate education provider, recently launched. And the results speak for themselves.

For example, Houston-based student Nanhi Tran works in the service industry, but is hoping to go into residential and commercial real estate. She’s on her way toward wrapping up her studies and is interviewing brokerages right now. None of this would have been nearly as convenient without Champions’ online interactive course delivery method.

Tran is using the module-based web app to access the same curriculum offered through other mediums, only this method offers videos and interactive activities that can be completed on your own schedule.

has announced the June 1 release of a new Online Interactive course delivery method, a module-based web app that engages students as they progress through their real estate qualifying courses with instructor-led videos and interactive activities. All six state-required real estate qualifying courses have been approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission.

“Before starting Champions’ classes, I simply read over the textbooks and found myself even more nervous than I already was for classes, since it was difficult to understand everything I read,” Tran said. “I was hesitant to even do an online course since I know I’m better at in-person learning. I focus more and don’t get distracted at all. Now with technology and everything, online courses are more readily available and even expected sometimes. The ease and simplicity of online has made transitioning even less nerve wracking.”

That’s exactly what Champions hoped to achieve with this new course-delivery method — one of five ways to access the industry-leading instruction offered by the company.

Byron Underwood

“For the past two years I have been working on the interactive online courses with a great team of Champions. Each of us have had specific roles in the production of the courses,” said Champions instructor Byron Underwood. “Our new courses are fantastic because they give our students the opportunity to hear an instructor deliver the course material through video. Students also work through activities along with read about the real estate concepts presented in each chapter of the course. We have provided knowledge checks and real-world scenarios for our students to apply what they have learned.”

Underwood, an educator for 33 years, has been blown away with the recent advances that Champions has made through the use of technology.

“Just this morning I received an email from a student who had glowing remarks about his first experience with the new online interactive course, Promulgated Contract Forms,” Underwood elaborated. “He said, ‘The Online Interactive class is awesome! My goodness … it is much greater than what I expected. The tone and the sound on the videos is super clear. The clarity and the sophistication of the context are readable and understandable.'”

Tran echoed the sentiment.

“The modules still show you what’s super important to remember and gives you plenty of ways to internalize the terms,” she added. “The teachers explain things clearly and concisely. I am happy and will definitely be doing this kind of course again.”

The coursework is easy to access, too, and is available on any phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop device with access to a web browser and the internet.

“Every new product initiative at Champions School of Real Estate revolves around the core philosophy of improving the quality of the student experience in every way possible,” said Curt Knobloch, Champions School of Real Estate Vice President. “After exploring emerging trends in online education, we chose to pursue the development of immersive online courses that replicate the Champions School of Real Estate classroom and virtual educational experience for the online student.”
