A Courtyard Pool Makes This Plano Home A Must-See

Share News:

I like a house with a point of view and this one has it. It’s a soft contemporary up in Plano. I have a Realtor friend that calls these “creampuffs.” And this one isn’t a true creampuff, because it’s obviously an investor remodel, but it’s still pretty freaking cool.

Angles on the outside and they painted the brick. I’m a lil’ ready for that gray trend to be over, but I still like the exterior of this house a lot.

Inside (and out) there are a few surprises and the first one is the pool. It’s located in the courtyard. How freaking chic is that? That means there’s still a full on backyard out there waiting for you.

In the primary shower there’s a skylight.

WHAT NOW?

A real-deal skylight. Right above your little Pantene-soaked head. That just feels pretty luxe, especially on sunny days. Or rainy days if you’re broody and moody.

The kitchen looks out on to the courtyard-y pool and so do most of the rooms in the house. It’s been explained to me that this is a trend from California that made it’s way to North Texas back in the 1970s. You’ll see a lot of houses up in P-Town build in a U-shape to all invite the outdoors in.

It’s not a massive kitchen, but it’s open and updated and no, I’m not entirely sure if that pet carrier pictured here conveys.

Other things to love? All the updates. The light walls and oak-toned floors. The vaulted ceilings and monochromatic beams. Painting everything the same color makes the rooms feel bigger, doesn’t it? Those everything here looks to be a solid size.

I really like the floating dual vanities in the primary bathroom, too. And then let’s toss it back to that main living area with a fully functioning WET BAR. Oh heck yeah, 1979, you knew what you were doing.

Fathom Realty’s Tracy Jaramillo has this three-bedroom, two-bathroom SoCO at 3200 Bandolino Lane listed at $390,000.
