Farm And Ranch Phenom Brenda Moerschell Joins Rogers Healy

Longtime Dallas Realtor Brenda Moerschell is headed to Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate. She says the decision had nothing to do with being unhappy with her current situation. Rather, she was simply impressed with the work that Healy has been doing.

“After watching Rogers achieve what he’s achieved and how he’s gotten to where he is, that really got my attention,” she said. “I’ve been so impressed with what he’s done with his business over the past 15 years, as well as the kind man that he has always been.”

Moerschell has worked in real estate for 35 years. In 2011, she helped found the Ranch and Land division at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s. Most recently, she’s been affiliated with Compass Real Estate.   

While she has sold a wide range of residential properties, farm and ranch homes have always been her real passion. Moerschell’s family has owned a farm near Muenster by the Red River since 1876. She grew up in Fort Worth and both raised and showed Quarter Horses.

“I’m a dirt person,” she jokes.

Among her high-profile transactions were the multi-million dollar deals for the Lazy S Ranch in Oklahoma and the 2016 sale of the 392-acre Valor Farm in Pilot Point.

The decision to join Rogers Healy came quickly. Moerschell says that when she first met with him, she was unsure which direction she would go. It took less than an hour for her to make up her mind. By the next time she saw her Compass colleagues, she had already moved her affiliation.

Healy says that adding Moerschell was a big day for his company.

“Brenda is not only an absolute legend in real estate, but she is also one of the first friends I made in the industry,” he said. “She has had an incredible career, specializing in some of the country’s most luxurious farm and ranch properties. I am thrilled that she is bringing her experience to our growing team here at Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate.”
