Chelsea Nelson is the creative type who has had a passion for decorating, design, and construction ever since she can remember.

Design, decorating and construction is a passion for Chelsea Nelson

After studying interior design she began decorating homes for her clients as a way to express her creative abilities and earn additional spending money. As it turns out, through her decorating experiences she met her future (now current) husband who was in construction. Together they started building homes in the Austin area.

Having a desire to be closer to family, in 2019 Chelsea moved everyone to the Fort Worth area and started a new home construction company, PAC Designs.

The company’s first Cowtown new construction endeavor is now available in the central Fort Worth area. The home is drawing rave reviews from Realtors and prospective buyers for the quality of materials and attention that are found throughout the home.

The kitchen has a 36-inch range and five-in-one microwave.

Living Big And Beautiful

Completed in 2021, the home has 3,180 square feet with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The open floorplan allows for maximum flexibility for families of all ages and stages. Upstairs, the home boasts large bedrooms and a secondary living area — all with 3/4-inch thick red oak hardwood floors.

You won’t find any carpet in the entire home.

The primary bedroom and suite are on the main floor, as well as a study and inviting family area with a fireplace.

As PAC Designs and Chelsea were building the home, they wanted to make sure that the finest materials were used to let Fort Worth buyers know exactly what PAC Designs stood for, and what one can expect to find in future homes as well.

Details, Details, Details

The “attention to detail” — yeah, we hear that from just about every home builder these days. Unfortunately, some builders, regardless of size or targeted price point, have cut corners or just don’t have time to focus on making sure that every little detail is done right during the construction process.

Sure it’s hard and takes time, but buyers can tell when a home is well built and when a home is lacking a sense of quality.

The shower in the primary bathroom has body sprays, adjustable heads, and a rain head in the center.

Some of the items that Chelsea has included throughout include wood windows, solid core doors, two-by-six framing (that’s big these days as the price of lumber has increased around 300 percent in the past year due to COVID-19 on top of higher prices due to Canadian lumber tariffs), full cavity foam insulation, extra wide shelving in the pantry to accommodate bulky items or a second microwave, multiple shower sprays in the primary shower, a tankless water heater, true sand-and-finish hardwood floors, and a 30-inch, five-in-one stainless steel microwave.

Can you name all five features that a five-in-one convection microwave can provide? (Spoiler alert: Grill, bake, roast, toast, and microwave.)

As the company grows and builds more homes in the area they are committed to remaining true to their passion and beliefs of using quality materials and making sure all details are considered when building well-designed, well-built homes.

Come and see all the details and attention that Chelsea and PAC Designs have placed in this home.
