Gina Mack to Lead Two Coldwell Banker Offices

Gina Mack has been named the managing broker at Coldwell Banker’s Arlington/Mansfield and Ellis County regional offices. She will lead a team of more than 60 sales associates.

“I am very happy to welcome Gina to this leadership role within our Coldwell Banker network,” Coldwell Banker DFW Regional Vice President Alex Vidal said. “I’m confident that with her knowledge of marketing and strategic planning, along with her expertise in the real estate market, Gina will be a great asset to our company.”

Mack joined Coldwell Banker in October after being affiliated with Ebby Halliday Realtors for nearly three years.  Before that she was a top-producing agent in El Paso for 14 years, spending most of that time with Century 21. 

Two decades ago, going into real estate was not even on her radar. She had a retail industry job that she enjoyed and did well.  However, when she met her husband who was also in the industry, she knew there was a conflict.

“I told him, ‘I ain’t going to get fired over you,’” she joked.  

Her move to real estate would prove to be a great decision.  Before long she was spearheading Century 21’s relocation efforts.  With a large military presence in the city, there were always people looking to move to El Paso.  Business was great, but ultimately she and her husband decided to move to the Dallas area for his job.

Mack admits that adjusting to a completely different area was initially challenging. Her local business grew slowly at first but soon began to accelerate. Then a friend and colleague helped convince her to change affiliations.

“The minute I stepped in at Coldwell Banker I felt like I was home,” she says. “I really do love the company, and I understand the franchise and marketing.  When the big company is behind you it’s easy when presenting to sellers and buyers.”

Over the course of her career, Mack has worked with buyers, sellers, investors, and builders. The new role also marks her return to management.  At this point of her career she sees herself as more of an educator. She’s looking forward to serving as a mentor and taking younger agents under her wing.  

After cutting back a little during the pandemic, the two Coldwell Banker offices Mack leads are looking to bring on new agents and keep top performers.  She will oversee the recruiting and training, among other responsibilities.

“I feel like I fell right back to what I used to do and I love it. I actually love doing it,” she said.
