There are plenty of great modern homes in Dallas. But once in a while, you see one with the “WOW” factor. Look no further. This new construction contemporary masterpiece—designed by Bernbaum Magadini Architects and built by Hudson Construction Group—is one seriously chic spec.

For starters, it’s situated on just under an acre in the heart of Bluffview—one of the best pieces of dirt in Dallas, according to Allie Beth Allman Vice President Alex Perry.

“A client-friend of mine had his eye on the property for a long time. When he asked if I’d be interested in putting together a team to do a spec project, I was in 100 percent.”

A custom glass door makes for an exquisite entry.

The home’s impressive façade boasts clean, sleek lines. Expansive rows of custom floor to ceiling windows welcome a warm flow of sunlight throughout the home’s multi-levels. An abundance of glass seamlessly blends the indoors with the outside.

The architects took full advantage of the property’s natural configuration.

While the majority of the house lives on the first floor, stairs, and an elevator lead down to a basement (albeit, an unconventional, supremely stylish one).

“You need the right kind of typography to pull it off,” says Alex. “It’s extremely rare.”

Floor to ceiling windows provide extraordinary views of the pool.

Equally unique is the size of the house itself: 8,206-square-feet. “You won’t find many homes of this caliber under 10,000 feet.”

Along with the Western window and door package, custom elements include rift-cut white oak cabinetry. The interior designer for the project is Rick Rozas.

The home features multiple spacious living/entertaining spaces.

On the main level, a spacious, open-concept layout has one room flowing into the next. Multiple living/entertaining areas sport see-through fireplaces. The kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances and finish-out.

An all-glass bonus room—which can be an office, gym, study, or craft room—overlooks the fully-landscaped grounds designed by Studio Outside. The oversized primary suite and guest room are also on the first floor. On the lower level, there are three additional bedrooms and a game room.

The majestic backyard features lush landscaping and multiple terraces.

The back of the home is particularly breathtaking.

An elegant and serene backyard oasis features a striking variety of terraced spaces. Rounding out the amenities: a spectacular pool, deck area, fireplace, and outdoor kitchen.

Additional features include a four-car garage and a smart home system.

“The attention to detail is going to be incredible. Hudson Construction is excited to take on the project,” says Alex. “It’s a mix of young energy and reputable, highly-regarded people. At the end of the day, you’re going to have a really cool home.”
