These North Oak Cliff Tudors do not disappoint. Both offer fantastic renovations, historic charm, and are on the best blocks in North Oak Cliff, minutes from Bishop Arts! Their price points however, are miles apart. Which would you choose? Take your pick from two Tudors in our latest Splurge vs. Steal.

Splurge: Timeless North Oak Cliff Tudor, Steps From Bishop Arts For $639K

First, let’s kick off our Splurge vs. Steal with a familiar estate. We featured this four-bedroom, three-full-bathroom Tudor back in 2015. And now it has a whole new look! With nearly $100,000 in renovations, it offers all the Tudor charms and plenty of shiny new upgrades for today’s buyer.

We love the pitched rooflines and covered front porch. But inside, there are plenty of high notes too. This includes a gourmet custom kitchen, 17×17 screened-in porch, and two full master suites with spacious ensuite baths. We love the easy floorplan with gorgeous hardwood floors and the upper level deck for taking in the view.

Sited only half a block from Dart and steps to Bishop Arts, this timeless Tudor splurge is a keeper.

Rob Elmore with Dave Perry-Miller InTown has listed 736 Elsbeth Street for $639,000.

Steal: Renovated Stevens Park Tudor With Modern Upgrades And Kaleidoscope Color For $524.9K

Well this isn’t something you see every day. For those who want color inside and out, this Stevens Park Tudor will do the trick. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom beauty sits on nearly a quarter-acre lot with stunning stained glass window, lovely fall foliage, and a huge swimming pool and pergola patio out back!

According to the listing, no expense was spared in professionally renovating this 1940s gem. It comes complete with a quartz kitchen and walk-in pantry, multiple decks for entertaining, plus eye-catching designer baths. And the fresh neutral interiors are easy to make your own.

There’s a lot to love in this Tudor steal and we are here for it!

It feels like the splurge should be the steal. You featured it in 2015 for $599k, and now, in 2020 and after $100k worth of upgrades (and only $242 psf vs. $302 psf for your steal), AND in walking distance to the BAD, it’s going for only $639k? THAT is the steal! (and don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Tenna Loma. There are no losers, here!)
