Village Homes, a respected Fort Worth builder, recently unveiled their latest project, Oakbend, which is located in southwest Fort Worth.
Designed in the Transitional style — classic with a contemporary twist — the townhomes of Oakbend are two-story attached properties of nearly 2,000 square feet and include three bedrooms and two-and-one-half bathrooms.
In total, there will be 30 townhomes that complete the project located south if Interstate 20 off Bryant Irvin Road and Oakbend Trail.
Spacious Townhome Living
The floor plans of the Oakbend townhomes are efficient yet spacious. All homes offer a second living area upstairs as well as an open-concept family/eating/kitchen on the main level.
All plans are designed with covered patios and yard space. The size of the yards depends on the location of the townhome within the community.
Of course, with new construction, these townhomes have the utmost in energy-efficient features — windows, insulation, appliances, and HVAC.
Location, Location, Location
Many times, townhomes are associated with urban areas. That isn’t the case with Oakbend. Surrounded by a canopy of trees and property owned by the City of Fort Worth, Oakbend provides the lock-and-leave comfort of higher density urban living yet is far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown locations.
Oakbend is a mere 13 minutes from downtown Fort Worth when using the Chisholm Trail Tollway. The beautiful Oakmont Park is within walking distance, and other destinations such as the Southwest Medical Center and Clear Fork shopping district are also a short drive from the new community.
If golfing is part of your daily routine, Mira Vista Country Club and the public golf courses of Pecan Valley are a driver and a 7-iron away from your front door. (Assuming you don’t hit it out of bounds like I do most of the time.)
Oakbend townhomes currently range in price from the $330,000s to the $390,000s. There are six homes under construction if you are looking to be in your new home quickly.
