Oak Lawn Townhome Has Something We Can All Appreciate: No Superfluous Stair Climbing

Share News:

If you’re looking for townhome living in Oak Lawn without the shared walls or superfluous stair climbing, you might want to jump on this listing by Phillip Murrell of Compass RE Texas, featured as this week’s High Caliber Home of the Week sponsored by Lisa Peters.

Built in 2018 by David Weekley Homes, this three-bedroom, two- and half-bath home has the best of both worlds. It has three stories, a two-car garage, and one fabulous rooftop deck, but something all homeowners can appreciate: room to breathe because this home is a single family detached. Translation, no shared walls!

Plus, homeowners in this Oak Park community enjoy amenities such as a swimming pool and pavilion, front lawn maintenance on zero lots, and daily trash pickup.

Oh, and did we mention that it’s just been lowered $17,000 to $629,900? At 2,653 square feet, that comes to an amazing $237 per square foot for a fully-decked out home near Lemmon Ave and the Dallas North Tollway.

Let’s take a look inside:

The luxury kitchen is a standout with custom lighted display cabinetry that extends from the 10 foot ceilings down to the hardwood floors and is accented with quartz countertops and a designer tile backsplash. Stainless steel appliances include a built-in microwave, oven, gas cooktop, vent hood, and dishwasher.

Just outside the kitchen, a private patio serves as an outdoor alternative for dining and entertaining. The 2nd floor is anchored by a three-story staircase that features a trio of pendant lighting in the stairwell center.

On the 2nd story, you’ll find three bedrooms including the owner’s retreat. This master features a large walk-in closet, oversized garden tub, frameless shower, and double vanity with quartz countertops.

Murrell points out another “best of both worlds” bonus for this home. “Because all three bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor, you can enjoy an essentially two-story home with the bonus of a 3rd floor den/game room that carries over onto the rooftop deck,” he says.

Oak Park homeowners association dues are $100 monthly and cover full of community features including a swimming pool, covered pavilion, and dog park.

Phillip Murrell of Compass RE Texas has listed 3743 Panalero Lane in Dallas for $629,900.

This really is a beautiful garden home (zero lot line and not townhome) in Oak Park. There are lots of great things going on right now in this section of the neighborhood as we work with the developer in the finishes to the green belt and entrances to this wonderfully located (West Highland Park) neighborhood. This price makes it a GREAT investment as new Albury models are selling in the higher $600 and more!
