In this new coronavirus economy, shopping now means carrying your own protective mask and gloves. That’s the only way you’ll get to shop Dallas Estate Sellers by appointment only sale this weekend — a huge liquidation sale for Gutmann’s Home Furnishings, a retailer that’s been affectionately called the mom and pop version of Restoration Hardware.

“Come and help us bid farewell to an iconic Design District home furnishings store that’s been a staple in our community nearly 30 fabulous years,” Dallas Estate Sellers’ Jose and Stephen write. “We will be assisting them with liquidating their current in stock merchandise and latest inventory shipments to make room for the next chapter in their business! Come shop with us in the Design District to take advantage of the great bargains on designer furniture and accessories.”

At the sale you’ll find estate jewelry including Monet brooches, a Sandor rose brooch, a Helbro’s women’s watch, Meda .925 ring, Mont Blanc cuff links, and Swank cuff set. There are Brighton, Carol Star and Kramer bracelets, a Sarah Coventry ring, vintage costume jewelry, an assortment of sterling, a 14k jade ring, and handcrafted wooden pens. They also have a selection of blue coral, labradorite, amethyst, selenite hearts, a hematite necklace, and agate slice and tigers eye pendants.

Here’s how it’ll work: Shoppers must sign up for a time slot, which are limited to five plus a guest per hour and will only be admitted wearing a mask. Gloves are optional, but handwashing stations will be set up to encourage frequent handwashing for shoppers.
