Suburb Sunday Fun Fact: Rockwall Was Named for a Literal Rock Wall

Share News:

The city of Rockwall is named for an usual discovery that early North Texas explorers found while digging a well. They came across a natural rock formation with long and narrow stacked rocks that looked like bricks in a wall. Naturally, they named the city for its subterranean wall that still exists below private land. Seems like a solid foundation to name a city and a great foundation for these three homes we’re featuring in this week’s Suburb Sunday.
