Shady Oaks Golf Course has a fascinating history.  Spawned from the mind of famous Fort Worth merchant Marvin Leonard in the 1950s, Leonard relied on course architect Robert Trent Jones and his friend Ben Hogan to create one of the most lavish and magnificent membership courses in the country.
