This week’s Suburb Sunday takes us to an exurb actually, Addison. While this four-square-mile Dallas County city is often known for its abundant restaurants and entertainment, you can find some great homes here with plenty of amenities. Here are three homes for sale in Addison that satisfy family life, provide a great starter home, or offer low-maintenance living for those constantly on the go.

Beautiful Family Home With an Even Better Backyard

Address: 14775 Chancey Street, Addison

  • Four bedrooms, four baths
  • 2,946 square feet
  • $524,900

You’ll love the custom touches in this 1993-built traditional two-story in Addison’s Chatham Court. But one of the best parts of living in Addison and this home particularly is paying a reduced one-time fee to gain access to Addison Athletic Club, which offers indoor and outdoor pools, indoor basketball, racketball, indoor track, weight room, exercise classes, and seasonal events.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel Thermador Professional appliances, including a four-burner gas stove, convection oven, warming tray, and built-in microwave, as well as a GE under-counter wine cooler refrigerator. Custom touches include a built-in wine rack and slide out cabinet shelves.

The expansive backyard has a louvered pergola covered patio and a stone fire pit with seating. This home is zoned for Dallas ISD in the attendance zones for Bush Elementary, Walker Middle School, and W.T. White High School.

2,000 Square Feet Goes a Long Way in This Home

Address: 14625 Waterview Circle, Addison

  • Three bedrooms, three baths
  • 1,977 square feet

Home is where the gorgeous Acacia floors are. This 1992-built home on Waterview Circle feels much bigger than its nearly 2,000 square feet with two living areas and a cozy den. It is chocked full of updates throughout, including new carpet, fresh paint, new roof, updated garage door and motor, and more.

The kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, modern fixtures, and LED lighting.

You can’t beat the location at Marsh Lane and Spring Valley Road with walking distance to the duck pond, dog parks, and Addison Athletic Club. This home is zoned for Dallas ISD in the attendance zones for Bush Elementary, Walker Middle School, and W.T. White High School, and you’re located right behind the Greenhill School.

This home is listed by David Heape of Keller Williams Realty Preston Road.

Low-Maintenance Patio Home Living Awaits You

Address: 17107 Upper Bay Road, Addison

  • Three bedrooms, three baths
  • 1,992 square feet
  • $275,000

Here is a spacious, light and bright patio home that’d be perfect for someone needing low-maintenance living. Your homeowners’ association takes care of your front yard, there’s a community pool that you don’t have to clean, and you can join the Addison Athletic Club down the street for only $10.

The three-way bedroom split is a great floor plan for privacy and giving guests their autonomy. There’s one bedroom and bath upstairs, and another bedroom and bath downstairs. The upstairs master bedroom has an adjacent loft that serves as a second living area.

This patio home is zoned for Dallas ISD in the attendance zones for Junkins Elementary, Walker Middle School, and W.T. White High School.

This home is listed by Bruce Arfsten of Re/Max Premier.
