Three North Fort Worth Homes, Budget Friendly and Ready For Viewing

Share News:

North Fort WorthThis week’s collection of open houses began when a reader submitted an open house in a corner of North Texas we haven’t gotten to really look at closely — the communities and small towns around north Fort Worth and Alliance Airport.

Some these homes have north Fort Worth mailing addresses, but are physically in other cities — like Roanoke. But the common thread among all of them is incredible deals with lots of house for your dollar.

Every Thursday, we bring you our pick of the hottest North Texas properties in our CandysDirt.com Open Houses of the Week. Which one will you choose?

Fossil Creek Traditional With a Guarantee

Open House: Anytime

Bungalo selection advisor Maci Dodson reached out to us earlier this week with this Fossil Creek listing from Realtor Hunter Fendley that she said is perfect for a busy prospective buyer looking for a lot of bang for their buck.

“It has all the bells and whistles at an affordable price,” she said, adding that it’s easy for buyers and Realtors to access the home for showings at times most convenient for them because Bungalo properties are accessible from smartphones from 8 a.m. to 8 pm., seven days a week.

This four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath home at 10448 Rising Knoll Lane has been completely renovated, too — new wide plank wood floors, fresh paint, and a big open-concept floor plan with vaulted ceilings to make that 3,006 square feet feel even more spacious.

The kitchen boasts solid surface quartz countertops, new stainless steel GE appliances, and statement light fixtures.

The main floor master has a walk-in closet, dual vanities, and a soaking tub. Plus, all the bathrooms throughout the home have been upgraded.

Plus, Dodson said, the home has “already had a third-party inspection, which is shown on the website, and it comes with a 30-day quality of craftsmanship guarantee, plus a one-year home warranty.”

The home is listed for $250,000.

Two-Story Traditional You Can Walk to School From

Open House: Sunday, Feb. 10, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

This home in the North Fort Worth has a terrific price point — $249,000 — and has been well maintained, meaning that any updates you might want to do can be spaced out over time, as you make this four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath home your own.

This 3,049 square foot Traditional at 3716 Diamond Ranch Road was built for a family that likes to entertain — from the large lot, to the spacious formals, to the kitchen and family room (with wood-burning fireplace) that are designed to be the heart of the home.

A large master suite includes an en-suite with a jetted tub, separate shower, and a massive closet.

Three additional bedrooms are also generous, and a large game room means there is plenty of play space.

Outside, the backyard is also ripe for entertaining, with an above-ground pool and covered patio.

It’s also just blocks from the neighborhood elementary and middle schools.

The home is listed by David Fielden with Briggs Freeman Sotheby International.

Brand New Listing in Roanoke Area

Open House: Saturday, Feb. 9, noon to 4 p.m.

We often talk about how rare it is to find a move-in ready home for less than $200,000, but this home at 13600 Ponderosa Ranch Road, located in The Ranches neighborhood is proof positive that if you’re willing to go outside the city centers, you can still find listings that are starter-home friendly.

This three-bedroom, two bath, 1,415 square foot home feels more spacious because of a clever floor plan that provides a large common area, dining space, and a kitchen with plenty of counter space and a large pantry. Combine that with plenty of natural light, and the home still feels airy.

A spacious master includes an en-suite with plenty of vanity space, and the other three bedrooms are also sized right for a growing family.

Practicalities were also addressed, as the sellers made sure there was a solar attic roof vent to improve energy efficiency.

And to make it even more family-friendly, it’s within walking distance to a park.

The home is listed for $189,000 by Martha Russell with Century 21 Mike Bowman.
