Turtle Creek Pad

There are very few condos in which I could easily see myself living, mostly because I’m rather fond of backyards and front porches, as are my two dogs and rambunctious 7-year-old. That said, this particularly stylish unit inside The Beverly on Turtle Creek definitely has my eye.

“The designers who made this home so special are the homeowners who brilliantly selected everything themselves,” says Harriet Shaw, the listing agent of this week’s High Caliber Home of the Week presented by Lisa Peters of Caliber Home Loans. “Their visionary expertise and impeccable coordination of interiors and decor in fact was featured in D Home 2018.”

A lot of the time, when I fall in love with a home, I see that long list of exclusions and my heart just sinks. I’m no designer, and when a home is expertly furnished, it’s hard to not want to buy all the furnishings and fixtures that fill it so well.

But that’s not the case with this particularly stylish High Caliber Home, says Shaw. In fact, all of the gorgeous furnishings are up for grabs should you want to negotiate.

If you’ll recall, we’ve actually featured a different updated flip inside The Beverly. Jon Anderson wrote up a second-story unit in the same building, which also benefited from an extensive renovation. As he noted, the building’s common areas have undergone a recent refresh that has made this stylish Turtle Creek pad all the more attractive.

The Beverly is located at 3621 Turtle Creek Blvd.

The Beverly’s lobby and hallways have benefited from a recent refresh.

According to Shaw, DMAC did the renovation at Unit 4L of 3621 Turtle Creek Blvd. The “highly respected” contractor did the changes and finish-out for this one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath unit. Buyers will appreciate an updated kitchen that opens to the dining and living areas, designer lighting, a completely brand new master bath, and a dizzyingly beautiful powder bath.

“The interesting touches and design trends used throughout this home are not only reflected in the lighting, but also the fabulous use of wallpaper to show off their love of color, pattern, and texture for a very curated and collected feel,” Shaw said.

We love the bold wallpaper and the European-style, monochromatic kitchen. You’ll also love the rich hardwood floors that span this 1,109-square-foot condo. The smooth quartz counters, subway tile backsplash, and stainless steel appliances will impress you enough to turn over a new leaf when it comes to your hefty Postmates bill.

I tend to go overboard with art, so it’s nice to see a home that feels collected and livable that doesn’t shy away from bold art and draperies. In fact, the fabulous collection of pop art and photography makes this fourth-floor condo all the more attractive!

“It has a cozy and warm feeling that wraps its comfortable and relaxed arms around me without losing any elements of style,” Shaw said. “I also love the wonderful building, where each unit feels very private but still allows for the amenities of a high-rise.”

If you’re in search of a lock-and-leave condo with built-in style and plenty of amenities, all with a great location, Shaw says Unit 4L inside The Beverly is hard to beat.

“My favorite thing about the location of this home is the fact it’s iconic Turtle Creek, with that established neighborhood feel,” she said, “yet you’re only steps away from our city’s treasure of a lush park-like setting, while still having close and convenient access to all the excitement of a major city.”

Harriet Shaw of Keller Williams Urban has listed Unit 4L at 3621 Turtle Creek Blvd. for $450,000. HOA dues are $1,080 monthly.
