In this week’s Agent Migration column, Realtor Paige Poupart joined Compass. Did you make a big move? Contact Joshua Baethge.

Realtor Paige Poupart recently joined Compass Real Estate. She was previously at the Keller Williams Southlake Office.

“I loved my Keller Williams family, especially the Southlake Office,” she said. “It was a very special and unique group.”

Compass had been on her radar since she first learned about them in New York. She watched with interest as they expanded into Dallas, and had been seriously contemplating a move since this past summer.

Poupart now plans to focus primarily on homes in the Dallas area. An added benefit is that she will also able to work much closer to her White Rock Lake area home, where she lives with her French chef husband and two young daughters.

Poupart has extensive experience marketing all types of properties, from luxury homes to retail and hospitality spaces. Some people may remember her from the HGTV pilot “Renovation Gap” that she did with her dad in 2017. The episode highlighted some of the work they did with their building and design firm The Masters. It was a fun of experience for both of them, but she is happy to be back fully focused on real estate.

“Design has always been my first love,” Poupart said. “I started working with my dad at a young age — way before I got paid.”

Years of experience designing homes give Poupart a unique perspective as a Realtor. It helps identify important details that are important to clients, and allows her to provide input on how to improve a property.

“I like being able to build around their lifestyle whether its construction and remodeling or buying and selling,” she said.

If clients want help with remodeling, she can put them in touch with good contractors or help them find fixtures and other amenities. Of course dad is also available to help on occasion as well, though playing with grandkids may fill more of his schedule these days.
