This home is such an incredible value nestled in one of the most picturesque neighborhoods in North Oak Cliff. Located inside Stevens Park Village, you might expect this home to another quaint Austin stone cottage like the many that line the blocks of this insular neighborhood just off of Fort Worth Avenue.

You’d be flat wrong, though, as this two-story Prairie style home has so much open space and plenty of contemporary features that it will astonish you what the sellers have fit onto a less-than-one-quarter-acre lot.

It’s straight-up sexy, isn’t it? You wouldn’t think that this home would feel so contemporary from the outside, but trendy paint, shrewd updates, creative lighting, and an open floor plan really make this home sing. Just look at that honey-colored oak hardwood flooring and that gorgeous molding!

There are three bedrooms, three full baths, a two-car garage and an updated kitchen all inside this home’s ample 2,095 square feet. Located at 2203 W. Colorado Blvd., this lovely home is marketed by David Griffin Realtor Courtney Tauriac for $485,000. Now, if you’re just looking at what you’ve seen so far, you might think that’s a little overpriced. But this home is hiding some real value.

The kitchen and bar area are just perfect for those who want someplace to entertain late-night crowds without disturbing the whole house. With tons custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of counter space, you can live your dream of a huge spacious kitchen. There are plenty of windows letting in sunlight at every angle, too.

The master suite is really gorgeous, and includes a private entrance to the backyard. The shower in the master bath is just enormous, but it is a little sad that there’s no tub. I mean, I love an epically huge shower as much as the next person, but there are some days that just can’t be fixed by anything other than a glass of Pinot and a soak in the tub. Still, I love all of the natural light in the bedroom, even though it could benefit from some stylish curtains.

this might be one of my favorite rooms in the house. I love how the sellers went all-in with this mud room. It accesses the backyard and has a great shower for rinsing off from your dip in the saltwater pool (yes, this home is priced under $500K and it has a saltwater pool in the backyard!) and a washer and dryer where you can stick your swimsuit and towels in once you’re ready to come inside.

I love the landscaping surrounding the pool and spa, which has a fabulous shape complete with a tanning deck. It goes well with the angles of this Prairie style stunner.

You found one in Stevens Park! I love it all, the stairs, the wall colors, the master shower (there IS a giant soaking tub in the backyard, after all… but I am a tub gal, too!) and most of all, I love that little shark guy on the in-pool tanning deck. Oh my!
