After 11 years at Ebby Halliday Realtors, Jeff Davids was offered the opportunity to move to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, a growing national brokerage in North Texas. Joining Davids as a sales associate is Mergim Neziraj, said Berkshire Hathaway Home Services PenFed Realty Texas president Rick Wylie.

“This will be great for me, but even better for my clients,” Davids said. “Berkshire Hathaway brings a certain element to the D/FW real estate market that we can all appreciate.  I look forward to continue giving my clients the level of service that they have always wanted and deserved,” said Jeff Davids.

The brand, which falls under the Berkshire Hathaway Inc. umbrella as part of the Oracle of Omaha, Warren Buffet’s empire, is growing in Texas, making big gains and attracting plenty of talented Realtors. Last November, Prudential Realty of Texas moved over to the new Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand, expanding the brand across the state. The new brand has since taken off.

“We are pleased to have so many agents whose leadership and experience drive the real estate industry recently join our ranks here at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty Texas,” Wylie said. “We’ve grown 23 percent since we made our announcement. Their contribution to our company and our collective success is an ongoing source of pride for the entire organization.”

Real estate professionals are also intrigued by the brand, Wylie added. “Recruiting suddenly became easier with our brand announcement. And those agents clearly understand the marketing potential of our new brand and are eager to represent it.”

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has grown rapidly since its launch 16 months ago, and now counts nearly 35,000 agents and 1,100 offices operating in 47 states. Already, the network was named 2014 “Real Estate Agency Brand of the Year” by consumers in the 26th annual Harris Poll EquiTrend® study and “Startup of the Year” among all U.S. industries at the 2014 American Business Awards.
