High Caliber Home of the Week: Lee Street Modern Is Clean and Bright at Day and Night

Share News:

Few homes truly rock the twilight photo shoot. Sometimes it looks like you’re hiding something, like imperfect masonry or ugly landscaping. And then there are grand homes and estates for which it seems that twilight photoshoots were truly made. This listing, from Jarrad Barnes of Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate’s Gullotto-Barnes group, is absolutely stunning in a very sublime, almost ethereal way. It’s like a monolith, and when lit at night, it is spectacular, not unlike a sculpture. Now that’s architecture!

A home like this is truly a high-caliber home, and such a listing deserves an equally high-caliber mortgage professional to guide you through the process. Look no further than Lisa Peters of Caliber Home Loans, a seasoned loan expert who can guide you through the process of prequalification and beyond, making sure there are no hiccups when you’ve found your dream home. Now, this home was sold less than a year ago, and I’m sure the owners are just heartbroken over having to sell again so soon. I mean, this two-bedroom, two-full-and-one-half-bath semi-detached home with 2,350 square feet is just absolutely stunning! This two-story structure is in a very dense, very upwardly mobile area, and is both close to Uptown and all of the cool spots that East Dallas has to offer on Henderson Avenue. It’s very close to downtown, and would be a perfect place for an urban-minded couple to move.

Barnes has listed 2841 Lee St. for $724,000, and with the cool modern touches in this lovely semi-detached, I’m sure he’ll find just the right buyer. Of course, I love the finish-out on this home, which features Viking appliances in the kitchen, and tons of huge glass doors that let the views in. Plus, the layout of this home is just seamless. The fireplace is surrounded by cool gray custom tile, and those windows! So much drama!

Upstairs you’ll find gorgeous bedrooms that are elegant but not spare. There is custom tile and cabinetry throughout, including cool designer tile that features zen-like waves and undulations. The master bath feature a double shower and frameless glass enclosure, and a huge double vanity with tons of storage.

Truly, this home shimmers at both day and night like a fine jewel. What do you love about this home?

This is the best location — kind of neighborhood woody. I THINK the place next door was also marketed by Mr. Barnes and I coveted it totally. This might make me think about selling the homestead…
