Friday Five Hundred: They Call it 'Prosper' For a Reason, Because The Houses Are Rich!

Oh my goodness, this house is so delectably rich there’s no way you can finish it in one sitting. If you need a break between the gratuitous house p0rn, catch your breath and come back!
This gorgeous home in the Prosper neighborhood of Gentle Creek Estates is such a stunner. It has four bedrooms, four baths, tons of living space, and a backyard that is designed for entertaining. With more than 4,000 square feet, 2570 Bendbrook is priced at just $508,900.
I am in awe with how much is crammed into this custom home! There are two family rooms, a media room, four full-size bedrooms, an office … it’s like the list just keeps going on and on! It’s a fantastic family home with hand-scraped hardwoods, slate floors, fresh carpet, designer paint, and tons of built-ins.
There’s also a stellar kitchen that features granite counters, stainless steel, and plenty of bells and whistles, including double ovens and a commercial-grade cooktop. Besides a gigantic counter-height prep area, there’s a huge breakfast nook that is a great place for informal dining.
The master suite is generous at 19 x 16 — plenty of room for oversized furniture. It’s on the main floor, which is a great way to get your beauty rest when there’s a horde of noisy teens at your house.
The suite has a five-piece bath that includes a whirlpool tub and his-and-hers vanities. While having the vanities on opposite sides of the room is a bonus, I do like the seated vanity for the ladies, because when it’s early, do you really expect us to do our makeup standing hunched over a sink? I think not.
Here’s what you really came for, though — the epic backyard. You get a huge loggia, a fantastic fire pit, and an incredible pool with a winding slide. Who needs summer trips to Hurricane Harbor when you’ve got this setup in the backyard? I love it!
