Friday Four Hundred: Architect Robert Durham Re-imagines a Midway Hollow Traditional For One Lucky Buyer

Share News:

I think I have a better-than-standard imagination, but I have a hard time interpreting floorplans and elevations. Still, though, I love trying to imagine how a home can be transformed into a dream home. Don’t you?

Now, 4031 Clover Lane in Midway Hollow, is going to make some lucky buyer very happy. This home, which is listed with the adorable Chad Meaders at Clay Stapp & Co., was originally at two-bedroom, one-bath house. With the help of architect Bob Durham, it’s a 4/2 with more than 2,000 square feet and two covered parking spots accessible through the alley.

If you’re dying to know what this house looked like before it’s facelift and, ahem, augmentation, here you go:

Pretty underwhelming, right?

While 4031 Clover Lane is on DCAD for $202,650, the sellers are asking $425,000 for the renovated property. I can’t say if that’s a fair price not having seen or toured this house, but I can say I’m definitely intrigued!
