We told you last week that Penny Tower Cook now has the listing on the (no longer hush hush) Lee Trevino home at 4906 Park Lane. The price of the 10,000 square foot plus mansion on five precious Preston Hollow acres is now $13,000,000, a TAD LOWER than it was, actually $1,000,000 shaved off but still, says Cook, a reasonable price. When you are talking ten million plus, what’s and extra one or two less, right?

By the way, talk about real estate and relationships: Penny Cook knows the Trevinos through their sons, who both attended St. Marks Episcopal.

Apparently, says Cook, the Trevino’s two children are all grown up and the empty nester couple now wants to scale down into a smaller home. Smaller than 10,000 square feet! We have some great ideas for them, too!

The Trevinos bought the sprawling Preston Hollow property, which includes two golf putting greens, in 1996. They commenced a major renovation before even stepping one golf shoe into the Park Lane estate, and it is just yummy. Country French so authentic you seriously think you are in Provence. Trevino, age 74, is one of professional golfing’s most successful pros. He has won six major championships during his golf career, including the U.S. Open, which he won TWICE, the British Open twice and the PGA Championship twice.
