penthouseIt’s no secret that if you want to see the best views of the Dallas skyline, you have to head up. But it’s also no secret that one of the best places to head up is the W Dallas Victory Residences, especially if you can wrangle a penthouse.

And we’re telling you that you can —  if you’re seeking a luxury lease along with that view.

Our inaugural Luxury Lease is in the W Residences South tower, which boasts a rooftop swimming pool, a resident’s lounge and a fitness center, plus the perks of services from the W Hotel, too — like valet parking, spa services, and a 24-hour concierge complete with the W’s Whatever/Whenever service.

And, of course, you’re within walking distance of American Airlines Center and other entertainment, dining, and shopping options, too.  (more…)

Nathan Grace Realtor Jennifer Ayyad

Dallas native Jennifer Ayyad is a real estate agent and artist who is finding a beautiful way to marry her passion for both.

The Nathan Grace Realtor has received several recent commissions for her extraordinary, large-scale acrylic paintings. The first was for a friend at the W Residences who had recently purchased a condo there.

“He was open to all kinds of ideas—I started painting on clear acrylic and we decided, why not do something that’s functional art?” Ayyad said. “So we did sliding barn door with a modern, contemporary twist.”

Her friend loved the piece, as did many people who saw the photos of it she posted on Facebook. One of her fans was her own real estate firm. They commissioned her to create art for the new Nathan Grace Frisco offices earlier this year.

Ayyad painted a set of sliding doors made out of four 10-foot-by-6-foot acrylic panels for the office entry, pictured above, and a large piece for the kitchen, both with vibrant colors and metallic gold accents.

The pieces are unusual and arresting, and people are lining up for her work.

The W Residences Unit 2001 Living

Highrise living — and we’re talking living at the tippy-top, y’all — doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg and leave you with that vague sinking feeling. Would you believe me if I told you that you could live on the 20th floor in the W Residences at Victory Park for less than $400K? You can, y’all! And you can get all of the eyebrow wagging cachet and amenities that come with living inside The W.

This unit, which is on the 20th floor, has amazing views and a great open floor plan through the living, dining, and kitchen areas. Plus you get a great little balcony/terrace. Of course, you get access to all of the swank amenities at the W Hotel, including 24-hour valet, private pool, room service, access to the spa, and a location you can’t beat!

2430 Victory 3001 Living

OK, that’s not all I want for Christmas, but an impeccable 30th floor penthouse at the W Residences Tower in Victory Park is a good start. This highrise has everything you want in an urban retreat, and the decor is on point.

It’s listed with Allie Beth Allman herself for $10.95 million and honestly, I feel like this five-bedroom, seven-full-plus-three-half-bath, 11,807-square-foot pad is worth every penny. I mean, those views! Those amenities! The privacy! The style! It’s an incredible unit and it’s full of eye candy with contemporary lines and texture.

Check out those shaggy beast chairs for the show or an apres-game rest! You sure won’t find those in LA! After seeing this totally WOW house, I couldn’t resist one more option for our new transplants. And I retact my earlier statement that Mack Hicks’ unit at 2604 is the most expensive lease at the W. Homes are just like what my father used to say about boyfriends and streetcars: another one comes along in 30 minutes and then it’s even pricier. This is a two-story unit, 2509, is on the 25th floor, but oh wow, what a beauty. Captivating panoramic views from every room, balconies overlook Victory Park, Calatrava Bridge, and downtown Dallas. Extra spectacular features include Crestron Audio Visual System, elegant mother of pearl & suede entry w LED lighting, tooled leather columns, warm suede walls, art lighting, hip Euro kitchen.  3779 square feet, only two bedrooms but three baths! This unit leases for $9500 and just went on… could be fabulous timing. Really.
