The homebuilding market in DFW is super hot, and with a new year comes new trends. Candy already mentioned the emergence of the skullery, but there’s more!

We’ve asked the best and brightest North Texas homebuilders to look into their crystal balls and make predictions about homebuilding trends for 2015. They’ve also given us some sublime photos that illustrate those trends in action in their own work. You won’t want to miss this—jump to read the whole story!

Yes, when I saw this house, I saw fairies dancing and I was (am) perfectly sober! How can you get cuter than this 2068 square foot, three bedroom, two bath, two living area cutie pie in Greenland Hills at 5534 Ridegdale? You get Stonewall Jackson Elementary School so the kids can do public at least until high school . The kitchen is totally updated with double Jenn-Aire ovens and a broad granite breakfast bar open to living area. There is an antique mahogany archway and some “period-style” columns that are honestly, for me, sort of a head scratcher but hey, may be your cup of tea and if not, I’ll personally come over and help you take them out — piece of cake. Otherwise the home has charming fixtures and woodwork and very important, newer thermopane windows. The owners also installed a tankless hot water system, so your utility bills will be under control. It goes without saying that, built in 1935 we have beautiful, solid hardwoods that gleam. Outside, you will love this ‘hood and spend hours on the wood deck off den which includes a newer 2.5 car garage. God, that extra storage will come in quite handy. Listed with Ricky Brooks at Keller Williams Park Cities for a mere $350,000.

Now about that birth control: I think this darling baby’s bedroom is so cute you might just go get preggers after tour the house. Hence, the warning in my headline: this house is so darn charming and adorable it could totally get you knocked up!
