3700 Euclid exterior 1All eyes have been on this stunning listing at 3700 Euclid, because almost every agent in town knew it was (a) beautiful, (b) stunning and (c) over $10 million. In fact, it was said that this sale could thrust Highland Park real estate into a whole new realm of Silicon-Valley like pricing. IF the purported buyer, Daniel Hunt, president of FC Dallas, son of the late Lamar Hunt  his brother Clark is listed as owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Hunt’s family’s sports holdings are split equally among Lamar’s four children — two from his first marriage, Lamar Jr., and Sharron, and Clark and Dan from his second — paid asking price of $14,900,000 (reduced a whole swallow from $15,995,000) or anywhere near that, we are talking $1,065.00 per square foot. Sweet.

We didn’t get that, but we got $13,600,000. Or almost $973 a square foot. How do you like that, Highland Park?3700 Euclid exterior

Nestled among hundred year old oaks, gently tucked in by lush ma

We may have found the most magnificent English Tudor estate, and it is perfect for a football star who wants to have a luxurious, well-appointed home in one of Frisco’s most prestigious communities that also happens to be super close to the new Dallas Cowboys headquarters.

First, let’s just take a moment to soak in the curb appeal, shall we? An expertly manicured garden full of mounding perennials and perfectly shaped topiaries. That colorful screening gives way to a cobblestone driveway, which then leads to a walkway flanked by iron lions, guarding the arched entryway of this brick and stone mansion inside Spanish Oaks.

Stunning drive up with incredible landscape that surrounds the e 5009 Spanish Oaks Entry

Inside this home, the grandeur and majesty just don’t let up. It’s full to the hilt of antiques, plush carpets, and opulent curtains. The walls are covered in glossy wood paneling and the floors sport beautiful honeyed hues. You’ll enjoy frescoes and murals, chandeliers dripping with crystal, and stately coffered ceilings. Of course, as you’d expect, all of the trim and cabinetry has been antiqued to perfection. See more after the jump!

9729 Van Dyke Front

As an East Dallas resident, I’m fond of walking around White Rock Lake and some of the nearby neighborhoods. Most people, though, expect that a home with a lake view has to be on Lawther or in Lakewood. Not so! There are plenty of beautiful homes in Lake Highlands that have great views. Some of them are on Peavy, and others are on a street called Van Dyke, which sits perpendicular to Peavy Road, starting near Buckner Boulevard. This street has so many fabulous properties on it, but this one always caught my eye.

From the outside, this 1959 modern home looks like a glassed-in pagoda, with wooden crossbeams and smokey panes. But what will you find once you cross that bridge and enter this one-of-a-kind home? More than 5,700 square feet of colorful contemporary design that will awaken your imagination.

6009 Royalcrest Front

Photos: Shoot2Sell

The time of roasting marshmallows is almost upon us. We got a little sampling of fire pit weather this weekend, and it really made it hit home that fall is almost here. Heck, pumpkin spice everything is hitting the shelves, and the Arboretum is about to open their annual autumn showcase with pumpkins galore, so it’s time to think about bundling up, boots, and making s’mores!

That’s the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the wonderful outdoor entertaining area at 6009 Royal Crest Dr. This home has one fireplace inside, one outside on the loggia, and a fire pit, too! There’s no shortage of places to get cozy in this home, which has four bedrooms, five full and one half bath, and 6,146 square feet. It’s listed with Dave Perry-Miller agent Karen Fry for $2.2 million.
