At first, I thought this was a new home. But no no no. The home was built in 1929. In 2008, the owners embarked on one of those “take it to the studs” type remodels, completely changing the interiors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, expanding a bit, and bringing in crucial updates. Additional improvements were made in 2018, including a restored slate roof. But every charming, aesthetic and architectural element worth saving from the original home was saved and cherished.
