Grand PrairieFor this week’s Weekend One Hundred, we trek to Grand Prairie, where we found a Midcentury Traditional that puts the cherry on top of a move-in sundae — it’s super close to the new IKEA, the mecca for anyone who moves into a new home.

I mean, how convenient is that?

This three-bedroom, two bath home is located at 305 West Springdale Lane, and is also within walking distance to Barbara Bush Elementary. It has nearly 2,000 square feet of space, and that includes a garage conversion that provides some flex space for a den, playroom, or even office.

Affectionately known as “the Mound” by locals, Flower Mound in southeastern Denton County earns a lot of superlatives: Money’s No. 16 best place to live in 2018, Niche’s #14 best public schools in Texas, and CNN Money’s best places to retire. And yes, there is a mound. A 12.5-acre hill in the center of town. For this week’s Suburb Sunday, we’re highlighting three great homes on the market full of high-end finishes, classic style, and great architecture. I think a Sunday drive is in order.

In fact, they’ve earned national attention for it, highlighting the fact that Euless has the largest concentration of Tongans outside of Tonga. It’s just one element of the special fabric that makes up Euless in Tarrant County. Centrally located and near one of the largest employers in the Metroplex, American Airlines, Euless attracts a large swath of people looking for new, affordably-priced homes full of modern amenities. For this week’s Suburb Sunday, we’re headed to the “E” in H-E-B: Euless.

Some these homes have north Fort Worth mailing addresses, but are physically in other cities — like Roanoke. But the common thread among all of them is incredible deals with lots of house for your dollar.

Every Thursday, we bring you our pick of the hottest North Texas properties in our CandysDirt.com Open Houses of the Week. Which one will you choose? (more…)
