Turtle Creek Pad

There are very few condos in which I could easily see myself living, mostly because I’m rather fond of backyards and front porches, as are my two dogs and rambunctious 7-year-old. That said, this particularly stylish unit inside The Beverly on Turtle Creek definitely has my eye.

A lot of the time, when I fall in love with a home, I see that long list of exclusions and my heart just sinks. I’m no designer, and when a home is expertly furnished, it’s hard to not want to buy all the furnishings and fixtures that fill it so well. 

But that’s not the case with this particularly stylish High Caliber Home, says Shaw. In fact, all of the gorgeous furnishings are up for grabs should you want to negotiate.

Museum Tower Patio “Porn”

Things are called “porn” because they’re largely unattainable, much like the lovelies featured in the original genre. House porn shows abodes to drool over that few can afford — whether it’s my fantasy 8,000 square foot Chicago penthouse or your Highland Park spread. At some point you give up on the unattainable and marry your gap-toothed sweetheart because … well … that’s reality (and, you know, the love and all).

My question to Dallas developers is, “Where are the lovable high-rises the middle-class can afford?”
