Can Chicken Coops Be Classy? At Least They Won’t Get Your Goat

By Joanna England | April 19, 2012 |

City Chickens have officially gone mainstream. If the idea of building your own coop seems expensive, daunting, and well, impossible, you can now just order one from Williams-Sonoma.

The chicken coops, which are actually chicken tractors because of their mobility, are part of the store’s new agrarian line. And there are beekeeping supplies there, too, as well as some of the flashiest trowels I have ever laid eyes on.

Thursday Three Hundred: A Prairie Home (Companion) With a Face Fit For TV

By Joanna England | April 19, 2012 |

Guys, I have a confession to make.

I am not a fan of Garrison Keillor. No, it’s not because of the dustup after his speaking gig at Highland Park UMC. I just don’t like talk radio, or “A Prairie Home Companion,” for that matter.

By Candy Evans | April 18, 2012 |

Realtor.com noticed something I noticed recently: that Troy’s house is now listed for $14 million. Wow, you might say, he’s caving in and lowering the price. Wrong. Well, technically yes, he did lower the price but that’s because you now get less land in the deal.  I have not heard officially from Allie Beth Allman,…

Tell Me Your Real Estate Story: Jamie Laubhan-Oliver’s Cedars Townhouse is Straight Out of a Catalog

By Joanna England | April 18, 2012 |

Jamie Laubhan-Oliver is a very stylish girl. She’s got more shares on houzz than bathrooms in Champ d’Or. And seriously? Her own post on styleswoon? The girl can decorate (and I hear her husband helps!). Seriously, it’s like I walked into catalog living! So it’s no shock that Laubhan-Oliver’s lovely Cedars abode at 1813 Ervay…
