Friday Five Hundred: An Epic Trip in The Wayback Machine, Minus The Shag Carpeting

By Joanna England / April 20, 2012 /

Flipping through the photos of 6441 McCommas Blvd. makes me hum Steppenwolf’s “Magic Carpet Ride” completely by reflex.

Note to self: Put “Dazed And Confused” on my Netflix queue.

The interior of this 1975 Spanish style in Bob-O-Link estates is so incredibly well-preserved, right down to the foiled wallpaper and wood paneling. And boy, is there a lot of wood paneling. Like, two stories of wood paneling and then some.

Do QR Codes Really Make a Difference When Marketing a Property?

By Joanna England / April 20, 2012 /

I’ll tell you what I do like: I like a good prairie home. And that’s exactly what 5010 Gaston Ave. is. I fine, well-preserved, built in 1912 prairie four-square with gorgeous wood trim and plenty of personality.

Tell Me Your Real Estate Story: Jamie Laubhan-Oliver’s Cedars Townhouse is Straight Out of a Catalog

By Joanna England / April 18, 2012 /

Jamie Laubhan-Oliver is a very stylish girl. She’s got more shares on houzz than bathrooms in Champ d’Or. And seriously? Her own post on styleswoon? The girl can decorate (and I hear her husband helps!). Seriously, it’s like I walked into catalog living! So it’s no shock that Laubhan-Oliver’s lovely Cedars abode at 1813 Ervay…
